In 1999 after graduating from high school Daryl began his career in the plumbing trade. His interest and ambitions in plumbing started initially while he was employed by a large plumbing company in Austin. Daryl achieved his first plumbing license, residential utility installer license, while working in Austin. Shortly after this achievement, Daryl moved to San Marcos, Texas to work with a large service-oriented plumbing company. Daryl remained a faithful employee of this company for six years and learned the plumbing trade first-hand from some of the finest plumbers. Daryl continued to work hard and advance his career. First, by receiving his Tradesman license and two short years later Daryl qualified to receive a Journeyman license. At this time, Daryl was promoted and accepted an assistant manager position. While working as an assistant manager Daryl soon met the qualifications to apply for a Master Plumbing License (the highest level of achievement in the plumbing trade). Daryl successfully earned his Master Plumber license in July of 2007. This allowed him to accept a promotion to a general manager position. On September 4, 2007 (his birthday) Daryl started Plumbing Solutions. It has always been a life-long goal of Daryl’s to be an entrepreneur; starting his own plumbing company has finally made his dream a reality. Daryl finds support in his endeavors as a business owner from his wife, Marissa, and their newly born son, Liam Ward Griffin.

Prior to graduating from the University of Texas at Austin with a bachelor of science degree in communication in May of 2004, Darrin had over eight years of experience in construction and construction management. Shortly after graduation, Darrin achieved a long-time goal of owning a business; as the owner of a contracting business that worked exclusively with the real estate market in Austin, Darrin found success in his endeavors. His experience as an entrepreneur was followed by the pursuit of graduate studies at UT Austin. Most recently, after achieving a master’s degree in human communication in May of 2007, Darrin teamed up with Daryl to start Plumbing Solutions from the ground up. Darrin’s combined experiences working for and managing construction companies gives him a holistic view and understanding of homes and buildings that goes far beyond that of the plumbing systems. Darrin brings his applied and academic experiences and knowledge to his commitment as Operations Manager of Plumbing Solutions to provide customers with the best service, workmanship, and relationship there is to offer.
